Bob is a 1995 graduate of Milford High School. Upon graduating from the Hocking College Police Academy in 1997, he joined the Williamsburg Police Department as an auxiliary officer. Later that year he was appointed as a full-time police officer in Miami Township. During his time with MTPD, he served as a field training officer, relief supervisor, and canine handler. In 2004 he was hired by the Village of Blanchester where he served as the chief of police. In 2006 he attended the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy and was commissioned as a State Trooper. In March of 2010 he was appointed as the Captain of the Goshen Township Police Department.
Bob holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. He is a graduate of the sixtieth session of the Police Executive Leadership College sponsored by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police. He is a state certified police instructor and has completed many hours of advanced training in various law enforcement topics. Bob is currently a member of the 17th session of the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police Certified Law Enforcement Executive program.
